With the latest version of Snapseed, you can now press down on the app’s icon on the home screen of your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus to access quick shortcuts. Perhaps most notable among them is the added support for 3D Touch, Apple’s pressure-sensitive multitouch technology currently available on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Now, Snapseed 2.2 is here with more improvements. Then, just last month, it was updated to version 2.1 with some navigation enhancements, including a new image picker offering quick access to the camera roll, app state preservation across sessions, and more. ![]() Just this April, it was updated to version 2.0 with stacks for re-editing images, support for copying edits from one image to another, new filters, brush tools, a spot repair function, and perspective adjustment. Released on iOS back in June 2011, Snapseed offers photo-editing capabilities comparable to professional software normally supported on desktop. Google has just updated Snapseed, the popular photo-editing app it acquired in September 2012, to version 2.2 with optimized support for Apple’s latest iOS devices.
